The results are in! After weeks of anticipation, votes, and holiday daydreaming, the Secret Travel Club Awards 2025 have officially landed. The Secret Travel Club Awards celebrate the world’s most-loved destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel experiences — as voted for by our amazing Instagram followers.

Our team of travel-savvy staff shortlisted the nominees based on the most talked-about trips of the year, and then we handed it over to our community to decide the winners. And wow, did you guys show up!

Here’s a round-up of this year’s globe-trotting champions and the best places to visit in 2025:

BEST AFRICAN & MIDDLE EASTERN DESTINATION

Winner: South Africa

From the wild plains of Kruger National Park to the cool vineyards of Stellenbosch and the buzzing energy of Cape Town, South Africa offers a travel experience as diverse as its landscapes.
